Babies come in two kinds-boys and girls. We know that going into parenthood. Still, most dads get a little nervous when the nurse places in their arms a tiny bundle. They can relate to boys...football, toy trains, etc. A girl, on the other hand...well let's be honest. What in the world does a father do when he's invited for imaginary tea? This class will focus on what works, like "reading riddle books" and tenderness; and what doesn't, like comparing her to other girls and harsh punishment. Best of all, this is a class about making an investment in the life of a little girl who, some day, will become one of her daddy's closest friends.
Facilitator: Dan Cook

This study by Robert Lewis is a study based on the question, "How will your son learn what it means to be a man?" In this class, dads will get together and: discover how to connect with their sons in life-changing ways, understand the critical issues they face in becoming an effective and strategic father, and learn what they need to know to lead their son into authentic manhood.
Facilitator: Darrell Webb
The Scripture tells us not to be conformed to this world but we still have to live in it. The Apostle Paul tells us to be ready to give an answer for the hope that lies within us. God does not want us to be ignorant but rather observant of the events that are happening in our world. Current events effect our lives and we as Christians need to understand how to respond to them. The following topics will be discussed and a biblical perspective on each will be presented.
Facilitator: Holland Jordan
Science and the Bible: Are the Bible and Science at odds with each other? Scientists can be Christians too! Learn what are the major issues and how you as a Christian can respond when asked about science. (1 session)
The Middle East: Will there ever be peace? Discuss the current state of affairs between Israel and her neighbors. Why do the Jews believe that they have the right to holy land? Look at the history of the conflict and what the Bible says about the future. (2 sessions)
The Economic Crisis: Is the current state of world economics a blip or is it a sign of the end times? We have been through economic recessions many times in the U.S. Is this one different? We will examine what the Bible says about this topic. (1 session)
Christianity and the Media: Christianity is being attacked from every direction, but especially through the media. You will examine both the obvious and the subtle ways in which Satan is using technology. (1 session)
Summary: The last session in this study will be used to tie all of these topics together and see how God’s plan for mankind is coming together.
Packed with lots of hands-on, age-appropriate learning activities for children, the Bible Skills, Drills, & Thrills Activity Book makes the experience about more than Scripture memorization. Through it, children will also learn about the context of key verses, related Bible stories, and more.

Today’s teenager lives in a hyper-sexualized culture. And while sexual immorality is an almost timeless struggle, the world your students live in seems to take the glamorization of sex to unprecedented levels. Culture calls teenagers to live a life where sexual activity and sexual expression is a vital part of their identity. But the Bible challenges your students to embrace God’s view of sex and sexuality, to rise above the message of culture and to instead live holy lives . . . In short, the Bible calls your students to Live Different.
Live Different teaches your students God’s intent for sex and how God views sex outside of this intent. Most importantly, Live Different will help you challenge your students with God’s call to live a life of holiness in a world of sexual immorality.
