Religion won't save you. Morality won't save you. Good works won't save you.

Only the grace of God can save you from eternal separation from God.

Living a moral, decent, upstanding life is good but not good enough.
Going to church is good but not good enough.
Donating your money to charity is good but not good enough.

Realize Your Condition
You need to recognize that you are a sinner. We all are. The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 3:23-25 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus" (NIV) He also writes, "There is no one righteous, not even one" (Romans 3:10 NIV)

Understand the Penalty for Sin
There is a penalty for sin. Death. Romans 6:23 says: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (NIV).

Believe Christ Died for You
Jesus Christ has provided a way for our salvation. Romans 5:8 says: "But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinner, Christ died for us" (NIV). Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son, was born of the virgin Mary. Jesus lived some thirty years teaching and preaching to all those around Him. He was nailed to a cross at Calvary where He was tortured, mocked and died to atone for the sins of mankind.

Trust Christ as Your Savior
Romans 10:9 says that "if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believed and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confessed and are saved" (NIV).

Pray
Do you know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? If so, great! If not, you can ask Him into your heart right now. You simply need to ask God for His forgiveness, repent of your sins and trust in Him.

    Pray this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I'm a sinner. I realize that something is missing in my life. I believe that you died on Calvary's cross and rose on the third day. I believe that you paid the price that I couldn't pay through the blood you shed on that cross. I ask that you forgive me of my sins and come into my life as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

If you prayed to receive Christ and you really meant it in your heart, the Bible says that you are a new person. God's word says that He "will never leave you nor forsake you." We hope that you have come to trust in Him. If so, tell someone about the decision you just made or contact us, we will rejoice with you!
